To ensure that its companies remain competitive in the European and global markets, Croatian companies need to invest in new processes and technologies, including green and energy-efficient technologies in ICT development and deployment as well as in new product development, including testing and certification to ensure their compliance with international quality standards. This operation will strengthen the competitiveness of Croatian SMEs by introducing international standards of eco-and energy-efficient technologies in manufacturing processes and applying best practices and successful business models in order to facilitate the development of new and competitive products.
Developed educational EMoRo II didactic robot would improve children's technical and IT knowledge and make the transfer of knowledge more efficient. The project started on 20.06.2013. and will last for one year. In this project we plan to visit the two fairs in the 2014th year. World of toys in Russia and Spielwarenmesse, International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany.
The proposed project has a great potential for sustainability as well as all major activities for long-term development and production of a new educational robot; According to plans it will be in use at the end of the project which would lead to new projects from our company in the future. By purchasing new automated equipment used in production, manual work included in the unit of the final product is substituted therefore ensuring competitiveness of the product on the global market. Besides that, the level of modern technology that is embedded in all aspects of the product, from product design to production and testing ensure a quality and competitive product. The innovative component of the product, the lack of a very high competition on the global market for this type of professional didactic product, ensures a reduction of marketing and presentational costs which are necessary to demonstrate the usefulness of this type of product. The new product becomes affordable to a larger number of users. In addition, with the positive evaluations of the previous generations of the product, there is a great change of the product being included in the nationals curriculums as an additional educational didactic tool which contributes to additional technical and computer education of a new generation of young IT professionals from a young age, which is of great importance for the competitiveness of a new generations.
